The modern version of the iconic Nokia 3310 is already listed at a number of retailers in Austria, with a price tag of €59 and will start selling next Friday, April 28. Some retailers are offering the phone for a slightly lower price of €53.
However, the price tag is still higher than HMD Global’s recommended retail price of just €49 for the modern version of Nokia 3310 feature phone. In Germany, the device will be available for just €58 and many retailers will have the phone ready by April 28.
But only the 2G model was listed. Different tax rates throughout European countries must be taken into consideration and could explain the higher price compared to the recommended amount by manufacturer HMD Global.
It’s worth mentioning that Nokia 3310 (2017) was also spotted at a Swedish retailer with a price tag of €93 and a shipping date in May, but HMD Global quickly labeled the listing as untrue.
Nokia 3310 (2017) is expected to arrive in 120 markets
Regardless, the new Nokia 3310 won’t cost more than €60 and should arrive on April 28 in various European countries, as well as other markets. HMD Global did say that it intends to release the new Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 3310 simultaneously in 120 markets from all over the world, so the April 28 date may be valid, give or take a few days depending on the market.
